Good morning to all. Here is part 2, the most nerve wrecking part. As from part 1, sea level was high therefore going down from the ferry in Menumbok would be a difficult obstacle. From the pic below, we were the last ones to load off.
The AE86 went down without a hitch but the odyssey had trouble going down due to its length and lowered stance. Plan B was to use our own stack of wood and under watchful supervision by the rest and the ferry crew. It all went smoothly. No pics were taken for these 2 rides as most of us were busy helping. However, as the rest of the group, pics as below...
1.2.
3.4.
1. First up, the low stance MR2
2. Went down slow but smoothly. No scratch at all
3. Secondly the low riding Z, 1st obstacle
4. Under watchful supervision
*Tips before you going down the ferry (during high tide):
1. Allow other high riding cars to exit first
2. Be caution that there is a huge hump right before the exit. Hump is higher then the one before we entered. Low stance car be advised. Need extra supervision and help as per pic number 3 above
3. The landing platform was in no good condition, therefore plan ahead where to position your ride and the stack of wood as per pic number 4.
4. Make sure the wooden plank are secured to the landing platform
5. Make sure you have enough eyes watching your every move (ie front, middle and rear).
